Dusty's Story

Dusty came to Rabbit Rescue from a shelter in Quebec. Due to overcrowding, he was placed on a euthanasia list and given only days to live. He was saved in time by a new foster home and is now settling into his new life!

Dusty was naturally a little bit skittish upon his arrival, getting used to all the new surroundings at his foster home. His foster mum was quickly impressed and pleasantly surprised when he allowed her to hand feed him a treat while in his carrier on the way to their house within the first few minutes of meeting! On his first day, he showed a couple of happy hops and zoomies, chinning to claim his litter box and strawberry house, and lots of periscoping to check out his new digs. He has "booped" (nudged gently), thumped a little (perhaps in reaction to foster dad adjusting the towels in his pen), climbed up on foster mum's legs to get a different vantage point and even climbed on her back when exploring a different room. He even hopped on top of his strawberry house when playing on his foster parents' bed. He is a tiny, adorable floof and his fosters are thrilled to be able to offer him all the luxuries he was missing before he got this second chance.

If Dusty sounds like the bun for you, apply to adopt him today at www.rabbitrescue.ca!
