Dolly's Story

Meet Dolly!

Dolly is a sweet girl who just needs someone to take a chance on her. She was surrendered to the rescue very overweight and filthy. Sadly, she had very little socialization and has spent most of her life in a small cage. In just the 3 weeks she has been with us, she has already come out of her shell so much! While she is cage aggressive (she will lunge but NOT bite), she does extremely well once out. She loves to sit on your lap and let you pet her and give back scratches. I have very high hopes for her continuing to learn to trust.

Dolly is very curious and loves to explore the room or house. She is still very cautious of people and does NOT like being picked up at all. I mean, she IS a big girl after all! Dolly is also very well litter trained! She does not poop OR pee outside of her litter box which makes cleaning her area a breeze. She does however love to throw toys, and her hay :) around. But that is mainly for entertainment. She loves toys and has started coming to the gate for head pats.

If you would like to meet her, or have any questions, please let us know!

She currently is on the list to be spayed. Therefore, her adoption fee will only be $30.
