When he's in his home base, he feels safe and comfortable, but when he's away from that familiar space, he can startle very easily. A sudden noise or unexpected movement can scare him, and he may panic and look for somewhere to hide.

Because of this, Dodge will do best with an adopter who understands that he needs patience, consistency, and a safe environment while he builds confidence. Once he knows his surroundings are safe, he is much more comfortable and can really let his personality shine. ā¤ļøš°

After everything he's been through, Dodge deserves a family that will give him the patience, love, and security he's always deserved.
