Desi & Lucy's Story
Desi came to TRR as an owner surrender after he had been bonded with our Lucy so we do not know his history. He is a medium sized, handsome boy. He's curious & calm, and tolerates pets but is not into being picked up. He adores digging and chewing cardboard and will push against his pen if he thinks he can get an opening.

Lucy is smaller, about 4 pounds. She came in from a dog and cat shelter. TRR got her spayed and adopted to Desi's home. The home situation changed and Desi and Lucy came back to foster. Lucy will be the first out of her pen for hop time and has learned that she will get a treat if she comes over for a little petting. She will not stick around after that - she has things to do. She does not dig or chew like Desi, but will toss the stacking cups and play with other toys.

Both have good appetites and good litter habits. They enjoy lying near each other and exploring when they have their turn. They are bonded and must be adopted together.

If you are interested in adopting Desi & Lucy, please click on the "Adoption Application" link on our PetFinder Homepage https://www.petfinder.com/member/us/ny/washington-mills/nys-chapter-of-the-hrs-the-rabbit-resource-ny201/
