Dawn & Dusk's Story
INDOOR ONLY HOMES PLEASE

Dawn and Dusk were born at the rescue on April 20, 2023. Their very pregnant mom was one of twenty rabbits rescued from a Hemet neighborhood. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

They were at a foster home for several weeks and have been socialized by the mom, dad and kids in the family. They're really friendly rabbits. Dusk is a male and has super soft, luxurious black fur. Dawn is a female and has the gorgeous grey chinchilla fur.

They are docile, easy to handle and enjoy being petted.

They were spayed/neutered on August 20, 2023.

They should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. They can have that as their homebase or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.

Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.

Dawn and Dusk can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore.

PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit!
