Danny's Story

Meet Danny, a very special bunny with a whole lot of heart. Danny has been through more than most, but he continues to face life with resilience and sweetness.

Danny had an illness called E. cuniculi, which is fairly common in rabbits and can affect each bunny differently. In Danny’s case, it caused some mobility challenges and weakness in his back legs. With proper veterinary care, Danny is stable and comfortable, and he currently takes two common medications to help manage pain and support the nerves in his legs.

Because of his mobility needs, Danny uses a special walk-in litter box. He typically does very well with it, though on occasion he may not get there in time. He will do best in a patient, understanding home that is willing to accommodate his needs and provide a safe, supportive environment.

Danny may move a little differently, but he has so much love to give and would make a wonderful companion for the right home—one that values compassion and sees the beauty in a bunny who has overcome challenges.

If you have read our Adoption Policy and are interested in adopting Danny, please complete and submit the online Adoption Application.
