Daisy Mae was surrendered because she was left in care of a child who was not feeding her or caring for her properly. She was underweight and ravished when she came to us. The parent of the household did not wish to assist in caring for the Daisy Mae, and therefore she was brought to us (this I am grateful for). I cannot stress enough that if you as a parent, do not wish to care for a pet, then DO NOT GET ONE> Children can assist and learn the beauty of caring for a life, but only along the side of a responsible adult. <br/>There is a suggested donation of $100.00 for this fur baby.<br/>As with all our adoptable pets, there is an approved application with veterinarian and personal references required. If you are 21 years or older and interested in adopting one of our adoptable pets, please visit our website at myhopesinyou.org where you can download our application and contract agreement, complete and email to us at myhopesinyou@yahoo.com. <br/>Once you have been approved we will contact you to schedule an appointment for you to come meet your potential newest family member along with a few others that may fit your specific families situation.<br/>It is VERY important to us that your furry friend enjoys your company as well as you enjoy theirs!<br/>You must be willing to come to Dutchess County, New York to personally meet with us and sign an adoption contract.
