Comet's Story

Hi, Im Comet, a handsome young New Zealand bunny with a bright white coat and an even brighter personality! If youre looking for a rabbit who will keep you smiling, Im your guy.

Im full of energy and love to explore. Every room is a new adventure, and Ill happily inspect every nook and cranny to make sure I havent missed anything. I much prefer having a room of my own or being free-roam—being cooped up just isnt my style. Ive even been known to clear a 3-foot pen with ease, so youll want to make sure my space is bunny-proof!

Im proud of my excellent litter box habits and am a respectful housemate. I leave carpets and furniture alone, but I do have one weakness... cords! If you forget to bunny-proof your cables, I can turn one long cord into several short ones in record time. Consider yourself warned!

When Im not exploring, youll find me racing around the room, doing joyful binkies, and showing off my playful side. Watching me zoom around is guaranteed to make you laugh.

Im neutered, house-trained, and ready to find a family that will give me the space, enrichment, and love I deserve. If youre looking for an entertaining, adventurous companion with a big personality, I cant wait to meet you!

I would love to meet you and maybe become a part of your family. If you think I sound interesting, send an email to MCRS at -- info@mncompanionrabbit.org

You can complete an application at -- https://www.mncompanionrabbit.org/adoption-application

All MCRS rabbits are sterilized, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2. Thank you for being interested in adopting a homeless rabbit!

Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society's Adoption Policy
Rabbits available through the Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society are all homeless rabbits taken in through partnerships with local animal shelters and animal control facilities. The rabbits have been examined by veterinarians, are sterilized and are currently cared for by private foster homes. The goal of the MCRS adoption program is to match these rabbits with families like yours to best accommodate the needs and interest of both. The MCRS adoption process includes an application, a phone interview, and a meeting with the rabbit(s) you are interested in. The adoption fee for a single rabbit is $100 (plus tax), and a bonded pair fee is $165 (plus tax). This fee is nonrefundable because adoption fees help to cover costs involved in caring for a rabbit prior to his/her adoption. Each rabbit receives RHDV2 vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery. In addition to daily care, foster rabbits benefit from socialization and litter-box training during their stay with MCRS. We are located in the Twin Cities metro area in Minnesota. We do not ship rabbits and must meet all adopters in person. If you are interested in adopting a rabbit, please email us to receive an application and other rabbit adoption and care materials. Thank you for your interest in adopting a homeless rabbit!
