Cocoa Hoppy's Story

Cocoa Hoppy is a 1-year-old friendly bunny who was surrendered to us due to one of the kids in the family developing allergies. He is very personable and loves greeting us at the door, re-arranging his cage space, and munching on his daily greens. His previous owners said that he loved to be around their kids and would seek them out to sit near them. When he is out of his cage, he loves to hop around and would benefit from a home with a lot of space for him to run. Like many bunnies, Cocoa can sometimes be unhappy about people entering or moving things around in his cage. We were told that his litter box habits were pretty good, but he has regressed a bit since coming to the Shelter. He will be neutered soon.

Rabbits are active, gentle pets that are happiest and healthiest when they have a large clean cage, lots of play time out of their cage, and plenty of fresh hay and veggies daily. All of the Medfield Shelter's bunnies are indoor pets and would not do well outside in a hutch. If you are interested in adopting a rabbit from our shelter, please fill out our adoption application on this page:
http://www.medfieldshelter.com/adopt
