Coco's Story

Hi! My name is Coco… but my foster mom calls me Coco Puff.

I’m a young girl under 1 year old with soft brown-gray fur, big curious ears, and a personality much bigger than my tiny bunny body. I’m spayed, litter trained, and ready to find a forever home that will love me as much as I love attention.

I’m a bold and playful bunny who gets excited every time my humans walk into the room. I’ll run right up to say hi and happily follow you around because I always want to know what you’re doing. I love exploring, zooming around the house, and finding little hiding spots during playtime. Hardwood and vinyl floors don’t scare me one bit — I’m a confident little explorer!

One thing that makes me extra special is how much I enjoy affection. I LOVE pets, cuddles, and attention, and I even tolerate being held for short periods of time (which is pretty rare for bunnies!). Honestly, I think I deserve all the love in the world… and I plan on soaking up every second of it.

I also have wonderful litter habits, enjoy all kinds of greens and treats, and absolutely adore my stuffed animal friends. Right now I’m a single bunny while I recover from my recent spay, but maybe one day I could have a bonded bunny friend too.

If you’re looking for a sweet, social, playful bunny with a big heart and lots of personality, I think we might be the perfect match.

If you think I sound interesting, send an email to MCRS at --> info@mncompanionrabbit.org

You can complete an application at --> https://www.mncompanionrabbit.org/adoption-application

All MCRS rabbits are sterilized, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2. Thank you for being interested in adopting a homeless rabbit!

Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society's Adoption Policy
Rabbits available through the Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society are all homeless rabbits taken in through partnerships with local animal shelters and animal control facilities. The rabbits have been examined by veterinarians, are sterilized and are currently cared for by private foster homes. The goal of the MCRS adoption program is to match these rabbits with families like yours to best accommodate the needs and interest of both. The MCRS adoption process includes an application, a phone interview, and a meeting with the rabbit(s) you are interested in. The adoption fee for a single rabbit is $100 (plus tax), and a bonded pair fee is $165 (plus tax). This fee is nonrefundable because adoption fees help to cover costs involved in caring for a rabbit prior to his/her adoption. Each rabbit receives RHDV2 vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery. In addition to daily care, foster rabbits benefit from socialization and litter-box training during their stay with MCRS. We are located in the Twin Cities metro area in Minnesota. We do not ship rabbits and must meet all adopters in person. If you are interested in adopting a rabbit, please email us to receive an application and other rabbit adoption and care materials. Thank you for your interest in adopting a homeless rabbit!
