Cinnamon & Pepper (Bonded pair, Courtesy Listing)'s Story

**This is a Courtesy Listing, which means we are helping the current family find a permanent home. The adoption application will be screened through NMHRS, but the final adoption is through the current family. Their caregiver was diagnosed with cancer recently, so there is no rehoming cost (emergency situation). This is not an NMHRS rabbit**

Cinnamon (agouti, neutered male) and Pepper (black, spayed female) are a bonded pair of indoor house rabbits in need of a new home after their caregiver was diagnosed with cancer recently. They are about 2.5 years old and were found dumped in a parking lot in Santa Fe with a third rabbit who sadly did not survive. You would never know their difficult origins based on their personalities, though.

Cinnamon is larger and bolder than Pepper, but both rabbits love people and have never bitten anyone. They do not appreciate being held but are happy to be hand-fed treats and veggies and accept gentle petting. They are litterbox trained and get along well with cats. They are very loveable and can come with some hay, pellets, and some toys.

This bonded pair must be adopted together and never separated, even when going to the vet.
