Chicken's Story

Chicken has gone through 2 homes before she made her way to our rescue resulting in her being untrusting of people at first. Her foster is dilligently working with her so she can learn that people are safe and not scary. She was also recently spayed so that will likely reduce her reactivity as well. She is currently in a foster home with 2 women and 2 children.

She has some lunging tendencies but does not do that when she is approached slowly and given the time to adjust to a new person. With her being spayed we believe that will also become less of an issue as hormones lessen.

She loves chew toys and throwing her toys, especially her pinecones.

Being a rex she is extremely soft and has low coat maintanence requirments.

She is litterbox trained.

Having been spayed and vet checked she is ready to go to a new home as a happy healthy bunny with someone who is willing to giver her that little time to feel safe in her home.
