Chewy and Lilibet's Story

Chewy and Lilibet are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. These bunnies were dumped in a carrier at an emergency vet one night without a word. A staff member found them. Chewy is an angora and he was very matted and weighed down with fur due to poor care. Chewy was shaved and seemed so relieved to see that matted mess go! Lilibet was scared and needed nail trim and other basic care. They were so scared at the time that it was difficult to tell if they were bonded, but after time at their Hoppy Hearts SC foster home, it became evident that they were.

Chewy is an angora so will need an adopter who is willing to keep up with his grooming needs or who is willing to take him to a vet or groomer to do so. Chewy is super friendly and has never met a stranger. He melts for pets!

Lilibet is a little more reserved and may take time to warm up. She is very well mannered and takes treats very gently. She is so cute and ladylike.

Bonded pairs are so fun to watch. Plus, they have the added bonus of keeping each other company when you have to be away. Chewy has been neutered. The vet believes that Lilibet has a spay scar and that she has been spayed. Both are up to date on their RHDV shots. To apply to adopt, please click the Apply Now button at https://www.hoppyheartssc.org/adopt
