Cassie's Story

Hi everyone! My name is Cassie.

I had been posted on another Facebook page by someone advocating for me. The situation was emergent and thank goodness I was taken into the rescue. I was very skinny and you could have felt all my bones when I first arrived. It seems there was some serious mental health and physical limitations in the home, but the people knew they could not properly care for me.

It took some time for me to gain proper weight before I was able to be spayed, but thankfully I was eating up a storm and have now been spayed. Despite my sad past, I am very friendly and always come up for a head rub and pets.

I am currently eating a proper diet consisting of unlimited timothy hay, Oxbow Adult Timothy pellets and a daily salad of romaine, parsley and carrot tops. I am a great eater and now that I have been spayed, I am learning to use my litterbox as well!!!

I absolutely love to run and play and may well be a great bonding candidate for any neutered males searching for a mate.

Would you consider opening your heart and home to a beautiful young lady like me?
