Meet Cashew! He is almost too good to be true. He has been doing well with litter box training and will nudge you to get pets. He is the absolute most dreamy rabbit with one floppy ear and the softest fur. Cashew was caught outside but don’t let that fool you. He is so incredibly loving and will truly be your best pal. We absolutely adore him. He is a good candidate to work on bonding with a bun as he was trapped in a small colony of domestic rabbits. We can’t say enough wonderful things about him! Folks should apply using our foster and adopter application. We will do necessary vetting and contacting references, and reach out to schedule a virtual home visit. We will update you if you are approved or denied, and proceed with the adoption process if approved.

Our Mission

Rocky Coast Rabbit Rescue’s mission is to help ensure safety and welfare of Maine’s domestic rabbits. Efforts will be put towards trapping domestic rabbits that have been released outdoors, and owner surrenders will be accepted on a case by case basis.
