Carrot Cake and Frosting 's Story

“These Queens.

Carrot Cake and Frosting are two sweet sisters that take time to earn trust, but once they give it to you, it melts your heart. They also will eat you out of hay faster than your human kids will eat you out of snacks in a snow storm. They love to explore, chew, and nap. They’re simple girlies, they love homemade toys out of cardboard that their foster mom makes, and even the cardboard roll the linoleum flooring samples came off of. That’s their favorite free roam toy. They also like to look at the plants (that are blocked off) while free roaming. Simple girls, really.

Carrot Cake (REW Lop) is deaf, and more shy to human contact. If you’re going to hang around them, she prefers you be on the floor, and let her come to you. I’ve really gotten to know her body language, and watch her extra close because her favorite nap spot is her tunnel, and she can’t hear me coming like Frosting. But she will come running fast for breakfast, dinner, hay, and an oxbow banana/apple treat. Seeing her blossom is very fun and sweet.

Frosting (gray NZ) is a big girl and will never deny any kind of chew toy or food. She is always on the move, and goes through chew toys like a teething toddler. She also appreciates a bun proofed home, as she likes to put things in her mouth faster than a human toddler. This big girl is full of curiosity, tummy rumbles, and love. Watching her comfort Carrot Cake is so sweet.

They prefer a quiet home, without small kids or dogs. A calm environment where they can be themselves. The queens they are.”

- Written by their foster mom

We’d be beyond thrilled to see these ladies find a family soon.
