Bulldozer's Story

Pawsitive Hope recently stepped in to help our local humane society after they took in 40+ rabbits from a hoarding situation. Many arrived in poor condition with overgrown nails, respiratory infections, parasites, and severely matted fur. Several were also pregnant and have since safely delivered their babies in rescue care.

We took in nearly half of the group and have provided medical treatment, grooming, and supportive care. Thanks to our veterinary team and dedicated fosters, they are now healing and learning to feel safe in home environments.

These rabbits are currently in foster care receiving daily socialization. Some are already friendly and curious, while others are shy and will need patient adopters willing to give them time to adjust and build trust.

Because of their background, we are seeking adopters who are experienced with rabbits or prepared to learn proper rabbit care. Rabbits require daily interaction, exercise, enclosure cleaning, appropriate diet, and ongoing vet care. They are wonderful companions, but they do require consistent husbandry and commitment. We also strongly recommend spaying/neutering, as this greatly helps with litter box habits, health, and long-term behavior.

Breeds are unknown, as they are mixed, but they are resilient little survivors who deserve safe, loving homes. Some may do best in pairs, and we're happy to help match adopters with a rabbit whose personality fits their home.
