Bonnie & Charlie *Bonded Pair*'s Story

Bonnie & Charlie are a BONDED PAIR and must be ADOPTED TOGETHER

Bonnie and Charlie here! We know, a name away from Bonnie & Clyde. But I (Charlie) got here first!

My name is Charlie. I am white with brown spots. I am inquisitive, adventurous, and outgoing! I am gaining a little weight, so my foster mom makes sure I only get the amount of pellets I need, even though I beg for more! I am food aggressive, so I don’t get many treats, as they overstimulate me. My favorite toys are compressed hay tunnels, cardboard castles, and paper towel tubes.

My name is Bonnie. I am an elegant brown color, with eyelashes any girl dreams of. Charlie is the man of the house, so I will be the woman of the house. I am timid but curious. Charlie can be a bit determined during food time, so I wait patiently for Charlie to get the first bite. My foster mommy sneaks me treats when Charlie isn’t looking, but shhh, don’t tell him! He has ears like a bat and will try to steal the treat away from me if he knows I have one, but my foster mommy makes sure he can’t have it, since I could use the calories. My favorite activity is digging in my litter box, so my foster mom has really high sided ones! Otherwise, I like cardboard castles and paper towel tubes.

We also have plenty of soft surfaces like foam bath mats and fleece blankets to rest on. Our foster mommy applies SDS cream to our feet every nail trim every 2 weeks.

We currently live in a one bedroom studio, but we are looking to relocate and find a forever home!

If you think we sound interesting, send an email to MCRS at --> info@mncompanionrabbit.org

You can complete an application at --> https://www.mncompanionrabbit.org/adoption-application

All MCRS rabbits are sterilized, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2. Thank you for being interested in adopting a homeless rabbit!

Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society's Adoption Policy
Rabbits available through the Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society are all homeless rabbits taken in through partnerships with local animal shelters and animal control facilities. The rabbits have been examined by veterinarians, are sterilized and are currently cared for by private foster homes. The goal of the MCRS adoption program is to match these rabbits with families like yours to best accommodate the needs and interest of both. The MCRS adoption process includes an application, a phone interview, and a meeting with the rabbit(s) you are interested in. The adoption fee for a single rabbit is $100 (plus tax), and a bonded pair fee is $165 (plus tax). This fee is nonrefundable because adoption fees help to cover costs involved in caring for a rabbit prior to his/her adoption. Each rabbit receives RHDV2 vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery. In addition to daily care, foster rabbits benefit from socialization and litter-box training during their stay with MCRS. We are located in the Twin Cities metro area in Minnesota. We do not ship rabbits and must meet all adopters in person. If you are interested in adopting a rabbit, please email us to receive an application and other rabbit adoption and care materials. Thank you for your interest in adopting a homeless rabbit!
