Boerne & Kendall's Story

Look at us, we are like salt and pepper as we go together at all the times, we are Boerne & Kendall and we are coming back into the ACHR rescue as our sweet mommy had a house fire and is not able to take care of us now. She adopted us in early 2024 and loved us so very much that she cried a lot when giving us back. We are so sad for her, but we told her, it’s okay mommy we have loved you lots and know you loved us, but we will find another mommy to love and care for us as wonderful as you did.

So, without further delay, I am the husbun, Boerne, and I consider myself a chill kind of guy, my foster agrees with me. But don’t let my chillness confuse you because I do like to explore checking everything out and keeping up with my wife. And I am the bun wife, Kendall, my foster tells me that I’m am very energetic and love to run and binkie, of course I agree with her. There’s always places to go and lots of exploration to do. Boerne tags along because what else is he going to do, beside he likes to show me what he has found, and oh, he loves me.
Together we complement each other and love one another so much. We do love to eat, so make sure you have lots of hay for us to munch on. At our check-up the vet told us that we are a little chunky, what, no way, we prefer pleasantly plump. It’s too bad our foster mom heard what the vet said, because now she doesn’t give us very many treats or pellets. She is lucky we like her otherwise we would stage a coup. At least we have lots of hay, so we will survive this diet she has us on. We drink lots of water with all the hay we are eating, so you’ll have to change our litter box more frequently. Before you know it, we will be lean, running, exploring, and doing lots of binkies to demonstrate our wonderful physiques’. We just adore our cat tunnel and just can’t get enough of running through all the connected tunnels of it as it’s great fun. So…what are you waiting for, come meet us and fall in love so that we can call you our own.

We are both neutered/spayed, vaccinated for the Rabbit Hemorrhagic Virus, microchipped and litter box trained.
