Blue is available for adoption!<br/><br/>Blue came in last fall after being dumped and left to fend for himself. He is a black and white fuzzy dutch....a bit longer fur than usual (but nothing that requires any different care for a prospective owner). He has adorable little mutton chops on his chin and he has STEEL BLUE EYES!! (It's those dazzling eyes that mesmerize us all!) He is an absolute cuddle bunny! Despite his traumatic past, this bunny is still loving and trusting and wants to interact with people. He'd be fantastic as an 'only' bunny but wouldn't object to being a husbun to the right lady bun. <br/><br/>As with all of our bunnies, we are looking for a 'house bunny' situation (no outside hutches). We do not adopt to children so this would be a 'family pet' that would live indoors and cared for by adults. Kids can help and some of the bunnies do like interacting with kids! But adults need to be responsible for the care of the bunny since some of our bunnies came to us with severe issues due to neglect by a child previously.<br/><br/>They can live in an ex-pen when you are at work or away, but would love to free roam with the family when people are home. There is an adoption process that will involve a home visit to help us get the vibe of the home to help make sure we match up the right bunny to the right home setting. (We wouldn't want a particularly shy bunny to go into an active home, nor an active bunny into a 'boring' home! Lol!) We will help you match up with the right bunny and let you meet several bunnies that might be a match during our 'speed dating' session that comes after all the paperwork. (And, yes, we do have paperwork.) Our bunnies have come from high crisis situations so we take the time to make sure that this next home will be their last by providing all the support you might need along the way!<br/><br/>He was part of our bunny crew at our recent Easter Photo Fundraiser and he was well behaved and curious. Not all of our bunnies are brave enough to participate in public events like this, but Blue was! You can see from the photos that he was calm and curious during his personal photo shoot! A perfect little bunny gentleman!
