Benji

Benji was given to someone who had two rabbits of her own. The man handed him to her and walked away. <br/><br/>When the woman placed emaciated Benji on the floor of her apartment, he went crazy with zoomies and binkies. We can only assume from the pristine color of his white fur that he had never stepped off of a wire floor onto dirt or hay. The free-roam space went to his head and his body was unprepared for such activity. It gave out, his tibula snapping clear in half. <br/><br/>So, Benji has since turned out to the million dollar bunny with the vet bill. He should have his own ticker on the stock exchange! <br/><br/>We tried splinting and casting the leg. Our efforts failed and it will need to be amputated.<br/><br/>He has put on enough weight to survive the anesthesia but will be listed as Special Needs.
