Bear's Story

Meet Bear, a full-grown male rabbit with a heart of gold, looking for his forever home. Bear was rescued from a dumped rabbit colony, and while we don’t know how long he lived outside, we do know that when he first arrived, he was terrified of any noise or human movement. After several months of patience and gentle care, Bear has slowly learned to trust his humans and now eagerly awaits their arrival at the edge of his pen each morning, ready for pets and affection. Although he’s still a bit shy, Bear is a very gentle and sweet soul who enjoys spending most of his day lounging and napping in his safe space. He’s a model bunny with excellent litter box habits and a love for hay. Bear’s ideal home would be one where his new family understands that he will need time to fully come out of his shell and warm up to the humans around him. If you’re patient, kind, and willing to give Bear the time he needs, he will be the most loyal and loving companion.
