Meet our final 3 intakes of the weekend: The Beans.<br/><br/>Lima Bean. Pinto Bean. And Baked Bean.<br/><br/>These 3 boys are about 8 months old and were being given away at a reptile show.<br/><br/>Yes. A reptile show...where people are specifically shopping for animals that eat other animals.<br/><br/>We don't need to spell out why someone saw 3 young rabbits being handed out there and thought, Absolutely not.<br/><br/>Were they definitely going to become snake food? Well never know. Were we interested in waiting around to find out?<br/><br/>Absolutely not.<br/><br/>So someone stepped in, took all 3, and contacted us. They hadnt planned on spontaneously acquiring 3 rabbits that day, but sometimes you see something bad and figure out the logistics later.<br/><br/>And thats how The Beans became Dollys bunnies.<br/><br/>Theyre all boys, although apparently brotherhood has its limits. Lima Bean and Pinto Bean are buddies, while poor Baked Bean got ganged up on and has been voted off Bean Island. Hell be living separately while everyone gets settled.<br/><br/>All 3 still need to be fully vetted and neutered, which means our weekend of 15 surprise intakes is going to come with one heck of a veterinary bill.<br/><br/>BUT we have some amazing news.<br/><br/>An anonymous donor has offered to match up to $500 in donations this week.<br/><br/>That means every dollar you give toward The Beans and our other newest rescues can become TWO dollars, up to $500.<br/><br/>Your $10 becomes $20.
