Aubie's Story
Having a pet rabbit is a long-term commitment; a spayed or neutered rabbit can live 8-12 years. They require a home that is willing to handle them daily, provide plenty of supervised exercise, and offer a healthy diet rich in fresh produce. Please visit www.rabbit.org for information about living with and caring for a house rabbit.

Adoption process: An adoption application must be completed and approved by E.A.R.S. A home visit is required prior to adoption. Our requested adoption fee is $50, which includes spay/neuter and a wellness check from our veterinarian.
Our rabbits must be adopted as indoor pets. An exercise pen that is at least 24”W and 36”H is highly recommended or a large as possible plastic-bottomed cage and running space in a bunny-proofed area. They love to explore and play in their surroundings.

Recommended Food: Oxbow or Kaytee timothy pellets, about 1/4 cup a day, unlimited timothy hay, and 2-3 cups of fresh, dark leafy green vegetables per day. For a complete list of rabbit-friendly veggies, visit rabbit.org.

Bedding: Newspaper, Yesterday's News, Cellsorb, or Carefresh.

CONTACT US!
