Argentina (Hospice Foster Needed)

~Sanctuary Foster Needed~<br/>Argentina, our sanctuary hospice rabbit with chest cancer, could really use some one-on-one attention. She's been being treated for chest cancer since last fall and since then has been in our care at home base. The cancer has progressed slightly and we expect it to keep progressing slowly but we think it would be better for her to get more attention during the end of her life. We expect her to live under a year but she could (hopefully) live longer. She is on a steriod once daily in the evening and takes it easily in a raspberry pill pocket.<br/>She is looking for a quiet home where she can peacefully live and get some lovins throughout the day. Preferably no loud/active dogs or children, cats are totally fine. She's a big girl at about 7-9lbs and has plenty of love to give. She can be a little food aggressive/possessive when feeding her but once you set the bowl down, she's completely fine.<br/>She doesn't excersize much and usually walks around for about 5-10 minutes before laying back down and taking a break. She doesn't need alot of space, she would prefer to relax and chill.<br/>She is not spayed due to her having cancer but is pretty good with the litterbox.<br/>Our rescue will provide all supplies (xpen, mats, food, litterbox, litter, etc.) needed and of course, cover all vet costs associated with her.<br/>She needs someone who is comfortable with giving medications, looking out for any signs of respiratory distress, and who has a heart of gold who would love to give a hospice rabbit a home. <br/>You also must be able to take her to any vet appts or pick up meds in the Cincinnati area (we can align with your schedule).<br/>Can we find her a hospice foster?<br/>~<br/>You can apply to be her hospice foster by filling out our Foster Application on our website.
