Ares's Story

Named after the Greek god of war, Ares earned his mighty name thanks to his bold personality and big energy packed into a tiny Netherland Dwarf body. Estimated to be 1–2 years old, this little warrior loves to zoom and binky around his foster home like he’s conquering new territory.

Ares is a playful bun with a passion for tossing his toys, chewing on apple wood sticks, and enthusiastically remodeling cardboard boxes. Enrichment is his jam, and he’ll thrive in a home that gives him plenty of safe outlets for that busy bunny brain.

Like many rabbits (and true to his name), Ares can be cautious when meeting new people. He appreciates slow introductions, patience, and a few well-timed treats to help build trust. Once he feels safe and secure, his affectionate side shines—he loves pets and will headbutt you if you dare stop too soon.

Because he can be unsure at first, Ares would do best with gentle, respectful children (or adults!) who understand rabbit body language and boundaries. Given time and consistency, Ares' trust grows.

If you’re looking for a little companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Ares is ready to meet you!

Ares' adoption fee is $100. Adopters must be at least 18 years old.
