Apple's Story

***ALL ADOPTION FEES ARE WAIVED***
***BONDED WITH ATLAS AND MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER***
***COVERED VETERINARY CARE FOR LIFE***

Apple is an adorable petite Netherland mix girl. When she came to us, Apple was all alone and very ill from the E. Cuniculi infection. With some TLC and a lot of patience, we nursed her back to health and gave her a friend in Atlas, who has the same condition. Apple is timid until she gets comfortable with her new surroundings and people, then her sweet personality shines. Give her treats or greens warm her up. She is tidy and has decent litterbox habits, but don't be surprised if there's a stray poop here and there. She's only trying to fertilize the garden!

The ideal furever home for Atlas and Apple should be a quiet, adult-only home or with a family with older children (10+) without other pets. They have compromised immune systems due to the E. cuniculi and so special care must be taken to keep their area clean and free of loud noises. Email us if you have any questions about E. cuniculi and how it may (or may not!) impact Atlas and Apple's lives.

Apple is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated against RHDV2. She has an old leg injury that likely happened when she was just a baby and has since healed. We will provide all available medical records including X-rays. She also has a slight permanent head tilt caused by the E. cuniculi parasite.
Napa Bunnies will fully cover any of her medical expenses for life and we will provide the initial setup including a Clearly Loved Pets enclosure.

Atlas and Apple are bonded and they need to be adopted together.
If you are interested in meeting Apple and Atlas, please email napabunnies@gmail.com or complete our adoption application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BUN/Rabbit
