Appa's Story

Meet Appa! This handsome lad was abandoned at Alum Creek Lake and quickly rescued by staff.

We don't know anything about his previous life, but we've learned that he is a sweet boy. He is interested in his foster family's two cats and large dog, even though they aren't as interested in him. He is also a big fan of air conditioning, and who wouldn't be with all that fluff!

Appa behaves well for grooming, including shaving, which is important. His long fur needs regular maintenance because it easily becomes tangled and matted.

Adopters will be provided with recommendations for grooming services.
