Apollo's Story

Apollo came to Rabbit Rescue after he was dumped outside at only 2 months old. He was saved by wonderful volunteers and is now happily settled into foster care.

Apollo is a young, small bun, though he will likely stay small even into adulthood. He has beautifully soft grey fur and the tiniest little ears!

Apollo is an exceptionally friendly rabbit. On his first day in foster care he immediately accepted pets and loved being cuddled. He has been known to fall asleep while being held close by his foster mom! He can be shy at first with new people but quickly warms up. Overall he is a very calm, easy going and sweet bun who loves attention.

Apollo is also playful, loving to flip his stacking cups. He will show off his excitement with binkies and zoomies. The best way to see some epic binkies is when he is playing with his toys or exploring something new and interesting – even a random piece of paper will make him jump for joy! Apollo loves to explore new areas, but he’s happiest when someone gets down on his level to play with him.

Don’t be fooled by his sweet face, Apollo has an adorable mischievous side! If his foster mom is doing work on the floor, she’ll steal one of her papers and toss them around over and over again. He says he is just helping and loves to help any chance he can!

Apollo would make a great free roaming candidate. He has fantastic litter box skills and is not bunstructive in a bun-proofed room. He would likely do well bonded with a female bun.

If Apollo sounds like the bun for you, apply to adopt him today!
