Meet Alvin
Saturday, August 19th Medfield Animal Shelter is participating in the Clear the Shelters event and Alvin is hoping for visitors. Alvin's adoption fee is $75.
Alvin is a new bun for us. Found recently out in the woods by people who knew with his plush coat and lop ears he was not a wild rabbit at all and was need of rescuing. For a week he was cared for in their home with their dogs who he was not bothered by. They tell us he is a happy rabbit and enjoys being patted. Alvin will see our vet 8/17 for an exam and then be neutered the following week. We are accepting applications now and he can meet potential adopters before surgery.
Alvin is apprx. 3 yrs.
Rabbits are active, gentle pets that are happiest and healthiest when they have a large clean cage, lots of play time out of their cage, and plenty of fresh hay and veggies daily. All of the Medfield Shelter's bunnies are indoor pets and would not do well outside in a hutch. If you are interested in adopting a rabbit from our shelter, please fill out our adoption application on this page:
