Sadly, the bunny friend he was dumped with was never rescued or seen again by our volunteers. Such is the plight of dumped buns.<br/><br/>Albus was neutered on December 30, 2024. He weighs just under five pounds. His estimated date of birth is likely spring of 2024.<br/><br/>He has little specks of black scattered throughout his fur (left ear, left paw, back, tail) but it's very hard for them to show up in photos. <br/><br/>He binkies a few feet in the air and it's so fun to watch! Chinning everything is a favorite past time for him! <br/><br/>He's a sweet little boy who doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He's just super appreciative of having been rescued.<br/><br/>Now he just needs a chance to steal your heart so you'll take him home. Could that be you?<br/><br/>Albus should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. He can have that as his home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.<br/><br/>Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.<br/><br/>Albus can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore.<br/><br/>PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!<br/><br/>If you are seeking a rabbit as a companion for your existing rabbit, your rabbit should be spayed/neutered. Male/female bondings are usually recommended.
