Acorn's Story
Acorn is a harlequin colored (orange with black markings) lop eared doe born in the spring of 2024.

She's a sweet bunny. She will start to run laps back and forth and around the cage when she sees us coming with food or treats. She has been known to pick up her water bowl and slam it around a bit if she knows refills are coming but we aren't to her cage yet. She's not aggressive at all when people are in or near her cage. She does kick and squirm when first picked up, but this is more a fear response and not aggression. She does calm down after a few moments, so I know she will get much better if she's handled regularly. She's cautious when out of the cage, and though we only had her out for a short while to take photos, she made little effort to explore. She would thrive in a quiet home where she could explore and get to know her surroundings in her own time.

Acorn's adoption fee is $30 plus a $20 refundable* spay deposit ($50 total) to an approved indoor pet-only non-breeding home.

*Spay deposits are refundable if proof of surgical sterilization is returned within 30 days of adoption. Failure to provide proof of spay within the first 30 days of adoption will result in forfeit of the deposit, which will be kept as a donation toward the care of other animals here.
