Meet Sammy-Gentle soul
Sammy is a 3 year old beagle/basset who weighs 40lbs and is currently being fostered in Gorham, Maine. He is a happy, low key pup who loves hugs, ear scratches and being outside. Sammy is a little shy but he warms up quickly once he feels comfortable in his new surroundings. We think Sammy would do best in a home with other dogs as that is when he's at his most confident.
Sammy is house trained, walks well on a leash and loves to lounge around. He could stand to lose some lbs so an active house with a good routine would be good for Sammy.
