Lou - NO ADOPTION FEE! URGENT! American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Harvey , LA

Lou is a hunka-burning love. He's adorably stocky and his heart is as big as his body. Lou, the big ol' teddy bear, was surrendered by his owner because they couldn't keep him. He is roughly 4 years old and very sweet. Lou walks well on a leash, but could use some more practice. He is easy to take out of his kennel, and knows "sit." Lou is very affectionate, patient, and will be a great companion. Lou weighs 55 pounds.

Lou is dog selective. He would do best in a home without any other dogs. However, if you do have other dogs in the home, a meet and greet at the shelter is ideal.

Lou was recently featured on a local news station during their pup news segment. He did extremely well meeting new people and being in a strange, new environment. Lou was good in the car and was also well behaved for his bath before going on the air.
