Meet Rudy
I HAVE BEEN ADOPTED! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THINKING OF ME! Original Post: Rudy is a very sweet 1 1/2 year old black lab/shep mix currently in the care of Strays & Others.
Rudy is admirably athletic! His high jump from a standstill makes him a skilled tennis ball catcher. He will play fetch, knows his drop it, and eagerly waits for you to tell him what's next on the agenda. Rudy is healthy and agile, happy to hop in the car and join you wherever you're off to. He is active, but has a nice calm energy about him.
This young boy has a fantastic temperament and is very social - he hasn't met a person young or old who he doesn't like, and revels in playing with other dogs. Also fine with cats!
Rudy has his basic obedience skills and is eager to please. His favorite thing (other than his people) is a big stick. He will seek the largest stick in the yard and contentedly lay down to chew it, roll around with it, and drag it around if he can.
Once playtime is over, Rudy will plop down next to you for a belly rub and some cuddling. This dog is a gem!
