Did You Adopt Katy?

Meet Katy

Katy lived in a kennel at the vet's office for six years. She was dropped off by her original owners (tied to a nearby tree), then kept in boarding almost all her life. The vet hospital has now changed ownership and the new vet would love for Katy to be in a forever home. The minute The Fuzzy Pet Foundation - (TFPF) learned about Katy's past, we jumped on board to oversee her care and adoption.

Katy is an eight-year old American Staffordshire mix. Ideally, Katy would do best as the 'only child,' however, she would do fine with a cat or a mellow dog (not a high-strung dog who would go after her face and get in her way all the time). She is a cuddle-bunny who craves human attention. Katy would love to spend every waking hour with her human companion. She loves to go on leash walks and does fine in the car! She weighs 56 pounds and is a perfect, medium-sized dog for an active or mature family without young children or many animals in the house. She has a clean bill of health.
