Our Mission
Mountain Top Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue serving Romney, West Virginia, and surrounding communities. We specialize in rescuing, rehabilitating and finding loving homes for cats and kittens, with a special focus on medical cases.
Adoption Policy
To qualify for adoption, you must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license or State/Federal identification card specifying your current address. Our adoption fee is due at time of placement. It is our policy that all cats adopted by Mtn Top Cat Rescue should be returned to the rescue in the event that you can no longer keep them. We will take our cats back for any reason, at any time, no matter how long ago the cat was adopted.
The adoption process includes a comprehensive application, an interview with a rescue representative, and possibly a home visit. We reserve the right to deny any application based on our assessment of the pet's best interest.
