Akers of Love for Pups, Inc.

Akers of Love for Pups, Inc. is a non-profit, foster-based dog rescue for all breeds. We are 100% volunteer. We are purposefully driven and committed to rescuing dogs who are abandoned, forgotten, or are residing in an unsafe environment. We rescue them from the danger, abuse or neglect they would otherwise feel in those circumstances. We are committed to fostering these dogs in our homes until we can find them a loving, fur-ever home. We are passionate about education surrounding the proper care of an animal. We also prioritize keeping our administrative expenses to a minimum so that we can focus on caring for these animals. We value the idea of community and creating a firm network of supporters, who work with other area shelter and humane organizations to protect and shelter these animals.
