Our Mission
A brief history of Whisker City:
Whisker City was founded by April Brown in 1995 as an effort to help abused, abandoned and neglected felines. The shelter is part of Blue Sky Charities, a non-profit 501-c-3 organization that focuses on helping both homeless people and homeless pets.
Whisker City is located in Shoreline and housed in a pair of rental properties owned by April. The organization has placed over 1,400 cats into homes and counting!
