Our Mission

Our mission is to find loving homes for dogs that were never given a chance. All of the funds raised by Casa Dog go directly back into sponsoring 4 to 5 spay and neuter clinics per year. It is our goal to spay/neuter 1-2 dogs for every dog adopted. This will be funded by generous donations and adoption fees.

Adoption Policy

IMPORTANT - THESE ARE RESCUE DOGS. YOU MUST READ THE FOLLOWING AND BE PREPARED TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH YOUR COMMITMENT BEFORE YOU APPLY FOR ANY OF THESE DOGS. WE ARE FOSTER BASED. We do NOT have a shelter. Dogs are fostered throughout Washington State. OUR ADOPTION PROCESS IF THE DOG YOU APPLIED FOR IS WITH A FOSTER: Please fill out an application and we will have you email pics/videos of your living area & outdoor area and check your references prior to placement (references are checked for all applications and are required to be approved), to ensure that all of our dogs go to a home that is fit for them. We will contact you VIA text once your application is approved. We will schedule a meet & greet with the dog you are interested in with their foster parent. Then you would start a two-week trial adoption. We do not hold dogs for any reason. It is not fair to the dog or other families who are ready to adopt. OUR ADOPTION PROCESS IF THE DOG YOU APPLIED FOR IS COMING ON A TRANSPORT: If the dog, you applied for is coming on a transport they will have a future arrival date within their profile. You will need to pick up in Puyallup at the set time & day you are asked to arrive (no other arrangements will be made). There will NOT be a meet and greet. We will not have fosters ready for the dogs planned to go on trial adoptions. For this reason, we will be asking for a $100 deposit for any dog going on a trial adoption at the arrival of the transport. Which will go towards their adoption fee. If you cancel 72 hours before arrival this will be nonrefundable and considered a donation. PUPPIES 8-12 weeks old: For puppies 8-12 weeks old we do a 1-week trial adoption, and an appointment is needed to be scheduled to establish care with your vet to keep their vaccine schedule up to date. Vaccines are needed every 28-30 days. There is a two-week trial adoption for 12 weeks and older to make sure that the dog is a good fit for you & your lifestyle. Then during or after t
