Our Mission
At Daisy’s Legacy, we rescue dogs from high-kill shelters in underserved communities, giving them a second chance at life. Every dog deserves love, care, and a forever home. Our mission is to match these beautiful souls with foster and adoptive families who can provide them with the love they deserve.
Adoption Policy
Our adoption process at Daisy’s Legacy is designed to ensure the best match between pets and adopters.
Application – Potential adopters complete an online or in-person adoption application.
Review & Screening – We assess applications to ensure a suitable home, including vet and reference checks if needed.
Meet & Greet – Approved adopters meet the pet to ensure compatibility.
Home Check (if applicable) – For certain pets, a virtual or in-person home visit may be required.
Adoption Approval – Once approved, adopters sign an adoption agreement outlining responsible pet care.
Adoption Fee & Finalization – A fee helps cover medical expenses, and the pet officially joins their new family.
Post-Adoption Support – We offer guidance and resources to ensure a smooth transition.
