To educate the public about the needs and care of the Labrador and Newfoundland breeds, and the importance of spaying/neutering, and adoption when possible. We promote the necessity of only purchasing puppies from ethical breeders. Never purchase from pet stores or persons who do not complete health testing, certifications, and guarantees against hereditary defects for the breed(s). An ethical breeder will also have a return clause requiring buyers to return dogs back to them if ever an owner can no longer keep them. We aim for only ethical, reputable breeders to exist, producing healthy, sound dogs, in both health and temperament.
