501c3 non-profit organization on a mission to save German Shepherds primarily from rural shelters and environments. We are currently based in the DFW area and plan to expand our helping hand across the state in the future. We are 100% volunteer and foster home based so contact us to join in #therescuelife!
Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescued GSD! We are excited to get started with you to find the best match for your family.
The first step in the approval process to adopt is filling out an Adoption Application (link included in our profile). We are very thorough with our review process so please allow up to 5 business days from your submission date for clarification on your approval status and any follow up questions about your application we may need.
If your application is approved, we will start the process with you to match you with potential dogs that are the best fit for your family in the order received. We require a home visit when meeting available dogs that fit your preferences and our recommendations. Once an appropriate match is found we finalize an Adoption Contract and you have a new family member!
Adoption Fee* (all of our dogs are up to date on all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and on current heartworm/flea tick treatment):
Very Young (0-12 mths): $400
Young (13 mths- Under 2 yrs): $375
Early Adult (2 yrs- Under 4 yrs): $350
Late Adult (4yrs- Under 7 yrs): $300
Senior (Greater than 7 yrs) or Mixed Dog: $250
