Adoption Policy
I personally do a vet reference and check to make sure the pet is up to date on vaccines and heart worm preventative.
Also check to see if other pets in the home have been fixed and if not why.
I also personally go to each home to check out the home/yard. I check for sago palms and look for any missing boards or broken gates, etc.
If the home is out of state I would do a video of the yard and photos of the inside living area.
I also ask about current and previous pets in the home, children - ages, etc.
