Our Mission
Red Oak Animal Control works to keep the community safe and free of animal borne diseases, dangerous animals, and protects the animals themselves from cruelty and neglect. We believe education is key in reaching that goal and making our city a great place to live for our citizens and their pets.
Adoption Policy
The Red Oak Animal Shelter attempts to adopt stray or abandoned animals to a "forever home" to provide a good life for the animal. Persons interested in adopting are urged to call the shelter and see if the animal listed is still available to meet.

Adoptions are $40.00 which includes:
 Vaccines (Does not include rabies)
Worming Treatment
Heartworm testing for dogs (If age appropriate)
Preregistered Microchip
You will sign a Sterilization Contract also.
