Our Mission

At Mcloven’s Haven, we are passionate about giving dogs a second chance at life. Based in New Waverly, Texas, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue is dedicated to saving dogs. Our rescue is unique: we don't rely on a network of fosters. Instead, every dog we save becomes part of our family, living in our home where they receive the care, love, and attention they deserve. Rescue and Rehoming: We rescue abandoned and stray dogs, providing necessary medical care. All of our rescues are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested for heartworms if over six months old. They are also kept on monthly heartworm prevention, as well as flea and tick prevention. Adoption Services: Ready to meet your new best friend? Check out our adoptable dogs and find your perfect match. A Family Environment: Each dog is cared for in our home, giving them a safe and loving environment while they wait for their forever family. How You Can Help Your support helps us continue saving lives. From donations to spreading the word, every little bit helps us make a big difference for dogs in need. ? Together, we can give dogs a second chance at happiness. Thank you for supporting Mcloven’s Haven. Let’s change lives, one paw at a time! Explore, Connect, Adopt, and Love. Welcome to the Haven!

Adoption Policy

McLoven’s Haven Adoption Policies At McLoven’s Haven, our goal is to match every dog with a loving, responsible forever home. To ensure the best fit for both the dog and adopter, we have the following adoption policies in place: 1. Adoption Requirements All current pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Renters must provide proof of landlord approval for pet ownership. All household members must be in agreement about adopting the dog. We do not adopt out dogs as gifts—the primary adopter must be involved in the process. 2. Adoption Process Submit an Adoption Application – A detailed application must be completed to help us determine the best fit. Vet & Reference Check – We will contact your vet (if applicable) Meet & Greet – If approved, a meeting will be scheduled with the dog and family members, including existing pets. Adoption Fee & Contract – Upon final approval, adopters must sign an adoption contract and pay the fee. 3. Adoption Fees Our adoption fee for all our rescues is $150.00 Our adoption fee helps us cover our rescues spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, and monthly heartworm and flea prevention. 4. Returns If the dog is not the right fit, the adopter must return the dog to McLoven’s Haven—no shelters
