The Mount Vernon, TX Animal Shelter is the temporary home to dogs and cats that have been picked up by Animal Control. The Shelter is run by the City of Mount Vernon, TX Animal Control serving the citizens of Mount Vernon, TX. We strive to reunite every pet with its family. In the event a pet isn't able to be returned to its family every attempt will be made to adopt the animal to a new loving family.
