Dogs of Hilltown is committed to reducing the street dog population by providing community outreach programs and adoption support to abandoned dogs.
Dogs of Hilltown cares about each and every dog we take in. We want to make sure our dogs find their furever homes.
We ask each person or family submit an application for the dog of their choice. The board members of the rescue will review the application and if it is a good fit- we will then arrange a meet and greet between the dog and the potential adopters.
If there is a connection made during the meet and greet, we then schedule a home visit. During the home visit we make sure the house is a safe environment for the dog and we also work on introductions between any existing pets.
Our online application can be found here: DogsofHilltown.org/adopt/application
$200 for dogs Older than 6 months
$250 for puppies 6 months and younger
Adoption Fee includes: Spay/Neuter, All Age Appropriate Vaccinations, Full Vetting and Microchip
Dogs of Hilltown is 100% volunteer and foster based. Our adoptable dogs live in homes with foster families and are treated as members of the family.
We do not have a facility.
Due to the limits with a volunteer nonprofit, we are only able to adopt to families within the DFW Metroplex.
