Tess' K9 Rescue

Tess’ K9 Rescue is a privately funded non-profit rescue that tries to save dogs from certain death in high kill pounds. Most of our animals come from some of the small towns surrounding San Antonio that rarely get help in saving the poor homeless dogs and cats that have been impounded there as well as S.A. Tess’K9 Rescue not a shelter which opens and closes so we do not have visiting hours. We are a rescue, which consists of private foster homes that care for these dogs. Our staff consists of friends and family, all volunteers who receive no form of payment. All rescued puppies and dogs are vaccinated, de-wormed, spayed/neutered (if old enough), and microchipped. They are socialized with other dogs and handled by our volunteers. When you adopt a rescued dog you help save two lives, the one you adopted and the next one you just made room for in the rescue. Our wonderful, loving puppies and dogs need permanent homes and families. They crave a sense of belonging somewhere and need the security of knowing they will never have to be homeless and hungry again. Please help us make a difference by "Saving lives one dog at a time".
