Everyday we get an increased number of calls about dogs. We need foster homes and donations. We are based out of Texas and run and managed solely by volunteers. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home French Bulldogs that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, strays, commercial breeding kennels, import brokers and private rescue groups.

Adoption Policy

Placing smush faces in great places! That is our motto. If you are looking for a wonderful companion to add to your family that is a french bulldog, pug, boston terrier, english bulldog or mix of those breeds look no further. All potential adopters are subject to vet checks, reference checks and a home visit before being approved to adopt. http://www.shortmugsrescuesquad.org/forms/ All of our dogs are in private foster homes throughout Texas.
